Sorry I dont mean the traditional stuff, every so often a band or artist comes along and their song seems to hang around year after year and turns into a classic, good or bad.

Noel answers:

Here are a few I can think of off the top of my head..

Jingle Bells
White Christmas
Rudolph the Red Nose Reinder
Jingle Bell Rock
Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
Let it Snow
Frosty the Snowman
Do You Hear What I Hear?
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Silent Night
The First Noel

Happy Holidays<3

Robert asks…

How do I stop Xmas songs from playing on my nano during a song shuffle?

I just got an Ipod nano. I wanted to know if there is a way I can stop the Christmas music from playing during a shuffle, as it is awkward to hear X-mas music when it’s not X-mas. I tried to go to Genre, to see if there was a Christmas genre, and than I could delete the whole genre. But there isn’t one. Aside from going through, and individually deleting each song, is there another way??

Noel answers:

You can do this without deleting the songs. Just go to your iTunes, right click on the songs that you don’t want (one at a time), go to “Get Info”, go to “Options”, and there should be a box that you can check or not check that says “Skip song while on shuffle” or something like that. Then make sure to sync after you did that, or it will still show up in your shuffle. And that way, if you still want to listen to those songs next year, you can just uncheck the box.
Hope this all made sense!

Mark asks…

Who knows the words for popular Xmas songs?

I need word for “Santa Clause is coming to town”, “Gingle bells” and also for kids’ songs like “Old McDonald had a farm” & “Twinkle twinkle little star”. Your help is very appreciated!

Noel answers:

On google, type in – “santa clause is coming to town” lyrics – you should be able to find all of the words to each song this way.

Xmas Fun

Donna asks…

What makes your xmas fun and filled with laughter??

Do you have a fun family tradition, play games etc……

we are always up for some “more” fun!!!
Let us know!

Noel answers:

Just spending the day with my family all my kids grandkids ,brother and his family ,and my parents ,and enjoying the blessing of the day

Sandra asks…

any ideas for some fun xmas photos this year?

There are me, my husband, my 2 and a half year old daughter and my 4 month old son. I want to take some interesting and funny shots on the day – for eg: all of us in my hubby’s canoe with Santa hats on. Thanks for your ideas!

Noel answers:

We did ours on jet skis with santa hats and red bathing suits

Richard asks…

What was the most fun work Xmas party you ever had?

Need suggestions to planning a Xmas party for 30-40 employees. Any ideas would be super. Thanks bunches!

Noel answers:

We had a Christmas party w/white elephant gifts. We knew eachother so well that when we got our gag gifts it was hillarious. My boss had us play stupid, but funny games after we were done with dinner. The key is to keep music in the background & have lots of activities for employees to be busy with. If it’s dead, then everyone will always remember it as being the worst Christmas party ever.

Ken asks…

Where is the best place to go in Finland for Xmas fun?

want very Xmassy activites – reindeer riding, bob sleighs, hot tubs etc.

Noel answers:

If you want to see a reindeer, then Helsinki is _not_ the place. Helsinki is the capital of Finland, and there are no reindeers in the middle of the city. You could find some in the zoo, but that’s not what you want I guess. Also, as a coastal city in the most southern part of Finland, Helsinki doesn’t probably even have decent snow during Christmas! (and the same goes with Åland, or Ahvenanmaa as we Finns call it…)

What you want is to see Lapland, and Rovaniemi is the biggest city up there. Yes, that’s the place where Santa lives (actually not in Rovaniemi, though they have the theme parks and other tourist stuff; the real place is at Korvatunturi, which is more or less far away from decent sized cities). Lapland has the reindeers, snow and sleigh rides, and I guess hotels have hot tubs too, but I really don’t see how they relate to Christmas.

I would recommend to study http://www.laplandfinland.com/?deptid=16024 , that site has good information to any tourist wanting to visit Lapland, and also lots of links to online booking services, websites of all kinds of events and so on.

Holiday Season 4

Mary asks…

The Holidays-What are the top 10 things you hate about the holiday season?4-20-08?

What are the top 10 things that you dislike about the holiday season.

Noel answers:

1)Tiresome. 2) Spending more money than you can afford. 3) The Hustling & Bustling at the shopping centers/malls. 4) Weigh gaining. 5) People trying to rip you off. 6) Sometimes the incliment wheather. 7) Temporary inconviences. 8) Wrapping gifts. 9) Forgetting things. 10) Running up CC bills.

John asks…

Should I get Rock Band or Guitar Hero 4 this holiday season?

Well, This Holiday season I can 1 of 2 things..Rock Band (or if it comes out on tim Rock Band 2) Or Guitar hero 4. I need help to decide which one I should get.

Noel answers:

I’d say Guitar Hero 4 (guitar Hero World Tour) because it’s going to have over 85 new songs!

Daniel asks…

Wii — How much did it cost before this holiday season? (like 4 months ago)?

Did the Wii cost as much as it does now, 4 months ago before the holiday shopping frenzy?

Noel answers:

Yes. You can catch them on sale sometimes or as a bundle, but they’ve been $250 since they came out. If one is more expensive than that, it’s either a bundle or you’re getting ripped.

Robert asks…

We were thinking since the holiday season is 4 months away….?

Would it be OK to decorate the apartment for Christmas/Thanksgiving/Easter, etc. (would it be OK to have a Christmas tree @ our apartment? Do we have to ask permission from apt building manager/landlord? What about other decorations?)

Noel answers:

If it is a real tree you need to ask your landlord. Don’t put any big holes in the walls. If you have a balcony you should be able to decorate it fine but ask about a wreath on anything else on your front door as some apartments say this disrupts the flow of the look of the apartments. You should be able to get away with using a nail gun outside and try to stick to using tape or you may be able to use tacks. Again ask the landlord. I can’t way seems like more people are getting into the spirit this year because it has been so hot they don’t seem to mind the idea of 30 degree weather now. Happy holidays!!!!!

Ruth asks…

So it says Yahoo is being generous this holiday season and giving us 4 points for each answer?

Is this there way of calling me their ho ho ho?

Noel answers:

LOL!’

Lizzie asks…

Are you ready 4 the holiday season?

Are you the type to think a head and buy a head?
Or are you just going to do something different this xmas?

Noel answers:

No i dont want to gain weight lol
i buy ahead !!! For sure
